West Texas Boys Ranch is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young men through structure, guidance, and the values of family and hard work. Since 1947, we've been a place of hope and second chances for boys from across Texas and neighboring states.
Here at the Ranch, we believe a boy’s past does not define his future. Surrounded by a supportive, Christian family-style environment and the wide-open spaces of our working ranch, boys learn to believe in themselves again—and to see the strength and potential they carry within.
Our program is built around three pillars: work ethic, spiritual growth, and education. With mentorship from a devoted and caring staff, each young man is given the tools to rebuild his self-worth, succeed in school, and grow into a confident, capable adult.
Licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, we provide residential care and transitional living services for up to 39 boys, ages 11–17. We serve youth from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
West Texas Boys Ranch is proud to be recognized as a 501(c)(3) public charity, committed to changing lives—one boy at a time.
